About me

Gracieth C. Batista's doctoral studies are part of Gripen's Indirect Offset project, a collaboration between Brazilian and Swedish institutions, including Saab AB. As part of this project, she's been designing a system for detecting damages in airplane structures in a lab at KTH Kista since January 2023 as part of her Ph.D. research studies, getting input from Saab about the requirements and features of the system application. Recently, she was granted a cotutelle (double-degree) agreement for her doctoral studies between ITA (Technologic Institute in Aeronautics - Brazil) and KTH University.

Ms. Batista has a Master's in Electronic and Computer Engineering at ITA in 2020. In 2018, she majored in Electrical Engineering from the Federal Institute of Maranhão with a one-year sandwich period from Lakehead University (Canada) through the Science Without Borders program. Also, she has been an electronic technician at the Federal Institute of Maranhão since 2011.
Her interests and experience are solving problems with machine learning (Artificial Intelligence) for software or hardware applications, using optimization of synchronous and asynchronous architectures (microelectronics-FPGAs), and digital signal processing.
