About me

I am a PhD student from China and now I am working on the phase separation of duplex stainless steels. My research is performed by small-angle neutron scattering (SANS). In my work, I would like to investigate the evolution of nanostructure and mechanical property to analyse the underlying mechanism of phase separation (spinodal decomposition or nucleation and growth) under the perspective of thermodynamics and kinetics. We believe such understanding could pave way to novel alloy design which is less susceptible to the notorious '475 ºC embrittlement'.
