Education:

  • 2011.09-present   Ph.D. student, Major in Materials Science and Solid Sate Ionics.

Department of Materials Science and Engineering, KTH Royal Institute of Technology,  Stockholm, Sweden.

PhD work: During his PhD study, the ceramic powder synthesis, processing, sintering and the conductivity measurements were mainly involved. For powder synthesis, the solid-state reaction method, combustion method and co-precipitation method were used. As for sintering, conventional sintering, solid-state reactive sintering and spark plasma sintering (SPS) were employed for obtaining dense ceramic pellets. Their conductivities were measured in different atmospheres and also at different oxygen partial pressures by typical electrochemical impedance spectrum (EIS) method. Moreover, their conduction mechanism was investigated and analyzed in-depth.

  • 2008.09- 2011.07   M.Sc., Major in Physical Chemistry (Electrochemistry).

College of  Chemistry and Chemical Engineering,  Xiamen University , China.

Master work: During his master study at Xiamen University, his research work was focused on physical chemistry related to aluminum electrolytic capacitor and corrosion science. More specifically, electrophoresis deposition and anodization method were selected and successfully applied to deposit nanoparticles on etched aluminum foil for enhancing specific capacitance. For corrosion and protection, different coating methods were performed to prepare high quality Mg-alloy. The related research work were published in peer-reviewed papers and applied for patents. In addition, he also did some research work related to photoelectrocatalysis and dye-sensitized solar sell.

  • 2006.09-2008.07    B.Sc., Major in Chemistry.

College of Chemistry  and Materials Science,  Hebei Normal University, China.
