Mariia Zyrianova

I joined the Department of Speech, Music and Hearing in 2022 as a research engineer with academic background in linguistics (Spanish, English) and communication as well as practical experience in translation and teaching.

The project I am currently working on revolves around automatic generation of multiple-choice questions (MCQ) for reading comprehension and includes assessment of MCQ units complexity. It is now under development for datasets in Swedish and English, while further work would also be extended to the Spanish and Ukrainian languages.
