Michele Visciarelli
About me
Michele Visciarelli is a Postdoctoral researcher at the School of Information and Communication Technology (SCI) at KTH, Royal Institute of Technology.
His primary research interests are in the area of computational nanophysics and materials science, with a focus on nanodevices for post-CMOS electronics era.
Short CV:
- 2017-present: Post-Doc position at KTH, Royal Institute of Technology (prof. Anna Delin). Research work on high-throughput computation of magnetic properties.
- 2014-2017: Post-Doc position at University of Bologna, Nanoelectronics group (prof. Giorgio Baccarani, prof. Antonio Gnudi, prof. Elena Gnani, prof. Susanna Reggiani). Research work on strain and trap effects on novel post-CMOS devices (III-V nanowire FETs, tunnel FETS)
- 2014: PhD in Computational Chemistry from Scuola Normale Superiore (Pisa). Research work on modeling transport properties of devices for molecular electronics with a DFT-NEGF approach
