Om mig

I am a postdoc at KTH, working with Josefin Larsson. My research interest is Active Galactic Nuclei(AGN) and have been currently working on Radio-Loud Narrow Line Seyfert 1s(RL-NLS1s). During my PhD, I mainly focussed upon the temporal and spectral variability properties in blazars(jet-dominated AGN) across the elecgromagnetic spectrum, their correlation properties and to understand their emission mecahnism in low- and high-flux states.

I have gained expertise in handling moderate sized optical telescope(0.5-1m class 'scope) taking observations of blazars and comets, using four different optical and NIR broad-band filters, with EMCCD, LN2-CCD, ANDOR CCD cameras. For my PhD work, I made use of archival data from Fermi-LAT and Swift-XRT/UVOT and reduced them using the standard procedures. I am also well familiar with the data redution procedures of XMM-Newton and Chandra satellites using SAS and CIAO softwares, respectively.

Currently, I am working on X-ray data analysis of NLS1s and searching for the sub-day variability in the handful of NLS1s in the optical range to investigate the presence of relativistic jets in these systems. Also, I am interested in looking for the connection between AGN and Globular clusters.
