About me

I am a PhD student in computational mathematics, supervised by Associate Professor Sara Zahedi. My research will focus on developing unfitted finite element methods both theoretically and numerically for PDEs such as the convection-diffusion equation, Stokes and Navier-Stokes equations, and Maxwell's equations. In particular, I am interested in developing numerical methods that discretely fulfill continuity equations, such as mass conservation, in domains that may have complicated shapes or evolve in time.
