About me

I am a PhD student in computational mathematics, supervised by Professor Sara Zahedi. My research focuses on analysis and development of unfitted finite element methods for PDEs such as the convection-diffusion equation, Navier-Stokes equations, and Maxwell's equations. In particular, I am interested in developing numerical methods that discretely fulfill continuity equations, such as mass conservation, in domains that may have complicated shapes or evolve in time.
