Reza Firouzi
About me
Seyed Reza Firouzi received the B.Sc degree in Electrical Engineering from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Mashhad, Iran in 2006, M.Sc degree in Electrical Power Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran in 2008 and dual M.Sc degree in Energy Engineering from Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Stockholm, Sweden and Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC), Barcelona, Spain in 2015.
He is currently working under supervision of Prof. Luigi Vanfretti at Smart Transmission Systems Lab (SmarTS Lab), department of Electric Power and Energy Systems, Royal Institute of Technology (KTH).
As part of one of the work packages of Ideal Grid for All (IDE4L) European project, he is involved in implementation of IEC TR 61850-90-5 standard and its application in real-time embedded and cyber-physical solutions for synchrophasor-based control/protection schemes.
