Smruti Panigrahi

Smruti Ranjan Panigrahi is currently working towards fulfillment of his Doctoral Thesis under the supervision of Professor Mats Bengtsson of KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden and Associate Professor Niclas Björsell of University of Gävle, Sweden. His research interest is in the area of low latency and ultra reliable wireless communication, which is essential for industrial automation and safety applications.

Smruti was born and brought up in Cuttack, India. He completed his Bachelor in Technology in Computer Science from National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, India (2005). He graduated with Masters in Communication System from Lund University, Sweden (2013). He has several years of professional experience in Telecommunication industry. In his professional career, he was actively involved in several research and development projects in UMTS and LTE for Nokia Siemens Network, Ericsson and Alcatel-Lucent.
