Yuanying Chen

I am a PhD student in Land and Water Resources Engineering, with interest in hydrodynamic and transport proccess of surface water.

My main focus currently is the general hydrodynamic process of the Baltic Sea and its reation in future climate change; land-sea interation on the aspect of inland pollutant's influence and transport on the sea. 

During my doctoral study, I have been engaged in BALSYS project-Baltic Sea Region System (https://balsysproject.wordpress.com/) and  EU project COASTAL-Collaborativel And Sea inTegration pLatform (https://h2020-coastal.eu/).

My main contributions to the projects are:building up three dimentional ocean model for the Baltic Sea and  coupled coastal-seamodel for interested coastal areas (e.g. Oskarshamn Harbour) and the Baltci Sea with different scales; conducting numerical simulations and analysing results for investigating physical pattern changes and transport process under different scenarios .
