Call for proposals for KIC InnoEnergy innovation projects for 2013

KIC InnoEnergy is an effort by the EU-funded European Institute for Innovation and Technology to create new technologies and applied innovation in the field of sustainable energy in order to achieve a competitive and climate neutral Europe. Our purpose is to facilitate the transitions from idea to product, from lab to market and from student to entrepreneur.

This new call is the next step in this effort and opportunity to receive funding for projects that are complementary to research such as development of products, processes or services with a commercial value but also with positive impact on society.

Successful proposals should be focused on bringing a new product, process or service to the market within a few years.  Ideas for products or services may exist within partner companies, rest in already existing research results or come from individual business idea owners.

KIC InnoEnergy Sweden AB is responsible for thematic areas Smart Grid and Electric Energy Storage, covering the complete electrical energy network of transmission and distribution in rural and future Smart City regions. KIC InnoEnergy Sweden AB will also act as E.
