ARE AKADEMI - Collegium Europaeum

The Arena for Conversation Across Sectors in Science, Art and Society

International visitors to Stockholm may be invited to participate in a series of reflective dialogues across sciences, arts and society, called "Nobel Afterthoughts". Conventions are held centrally in the city area and invlude brief lunch dialogues at the National Library of Sweden, Sumlen, or Sophiahemmet, and evening conventions at Danderydsplan close to KTH campus. This emerging initiative offered by Are Akademi Collegium Europaeum invites interested organizations to join in the quest for innovative ways of problem-solving by integrating value-focused cross-fertilization in the process of designing the future of human life in generations to come.

ARE AKADEMI IS A NEW VALUE-FOCUSED INITIATIVE FOR CROSS-DISCIPLINARY DIALOGUE ON THE FUTURE INTERPLAY OF SCIENCES, ARTS AND CULTURE IN SOCIETY, ROOTED IN AN ANCIENT ACADEMIC TRADITION OF THE NORDIC UNION

ARE AKADEMI is an arena for transdisciplinary dialogue across sciences and arts for the formation of sustainable human and social value. With a focus on topics of societal relevance, it seeks to develop new and integrated views on problem solving and offers an arena for open discussion on methods for knowledge integration. It ventures into providing a competent interface for the interplay between business and culture.
