Hej everyone! Welcome to this weeks post 🙂 As we usher in the new year, 2024 promises to be a chapter filled with excitement, personal growth, and memorable experiences. Among the many things on the horizon, my anticipation is building for some key events that will undoubtedly make this year one to remember.
- Swedish Winter Wonderland: Upon returning from a sun-soaked Christmas vacation with my family in Florida, I eagerly look forward to embracing the Swedish winter. I am so looking forward to partake in winter activities like skating, polar dipping, and skiing. The magical landscapes covered in snow create a perfect backdrop for outdoor adventures and cozy evenings by the fireplace.
- Thesis: One of the highlights of 2024 is the opportunity to write my thesis at a Swedish bank, where I will also be working part-time. The focus of my research is on investigating the socio-ecological dynamic and exploring how investments in social sustainability can contribute to sustainable development. This dual commitment promises a unique blend of academic rigor and practical experience, setting the stage for a meaningful contribution to the field.
- Semla Season – A Culinary Delight: As a connoisseur of Swedish pastries, I eagerly await the arrival of Semla season. The delectable flavors and textures of this seasonal delight never fail to bring joy and comfort. From the first bite to the last crumb, Selma season is a celebration of culinary excellence that adds a sweet touch to the year.
- Graduation – A Bittersweet Milestone: The pinnacle of the year is the momentous occasion of graduation. This event marks the culmination of years of hard work, dedication, and personal growth. While it’s a joyous occasion, it also carries a tinge of sadness as it signifies the end of an academic chapter. However, with every ending comes a new beginning, and the future holds the promise of exciting opportunities and continued growth.
