Where the Senses Seek Form

Storefront window of Parallel Collective Gallery featuring a potted plant, black dots
Published Aug 25, 2026

Opening Thursday 27 August, 17.00 to 21.00.

Welcome to Points of Touch, a tactile exhibition that invites you to remember, to listen, and to search with the skin rather than with sight. The exhibition is created by five artists who, working from different practices in scent, sound, sculpture and installation, have made five works with the ambition of drawing visitor and artwork together in an encounter between memory and sense.

Parallel Collective Gallery has, with support from Region Stockholm and in dialogue with the Swedish Association of the Visually Impaired (SRF), created a curatorial method-development project. The intention is to make an art experience that is accessible to visitors at large, rather than one limited to a specific group. An audio guide accompanies the exhibition, in which the artists describe their material choices and intentions, and its method and findings are gathered in a digital report shared with other art institutions in the region.

Participating artists: Helena Linder, Kajsa Frisk, Daniele Di Girolamo, Platon Marko and Ryan Packard. Curated by Kays Ismail and Kajsa Frisk.

Opening Thursday 27 August, 17.00 to 21.00. On view 27 August to 27 September 2026 at Parallel Collective Gallery, Svartensgatan 10, Stockholm. Hours: Thursday and Friday 12.00 to 20.00, Saturday 12.00 to 16.00. Supported by Region Stockholm. With thanks to Synskadades Riksförbund (SRF) Stockholm Gotland and Synskadade Konstnärers och Konsthantverkares Förening (SKKF).
