About me

I completed my PhD from Computational Biology department in School of Electrical Engineering & Computer Science (previouly known as CSC) in 2015. My Ph.D. advisor was Jens Lagergren and I worked at Scilifelab Stockholm. During my PhD, I worked on Bayesian generative techniques for modeling molecular evolution and implemented them using sampling techniques such as MCMC.

Between 2015 and 2018, I was a Postdoc at Department of Oncology-Pathology, where I worked on computational techniques to study intratumor heterogeneity and tumor evolution in metastatic breast cancer.

Between March 2018 & February 2022, I worked as SW Researcher in Networks Division within Ericsson, where I was the focus area lead for AI-driven Security for Radio Access Networks (RAN).

Since February 2022, I am working as Staff Scientist in Bioscience Core Lab at KAUST (King Abdullah University of Science and Technology).
