Since 2019 KTH Naval Architecture is the home for a PhD Project about concept development approaches for the future navy. The project is financed by the Swedish Royal Navy and performed together with the Navy and the Swedish Defence University.
The aim of the project is to address approaches for concept development that can facilitate large technology shifts with organizational implications. The study uses the developments in relation to autonomy at sea as an example of such a technology shift.
