Rohollah Nasiri received his PhD and MSc degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the Sharif University of Technology, Iran, in 2021 and 2014, respectively. Also, he received his BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tehran, Iran, in 2012. During his PhD he was a visiting researcher at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and Terasaki Institute for Biomedical Innovation (TIBI) at Prof. Khademhosseini's Lab for two years. His research interests are microfluidics, organ-on-a-chip, biosensors, and tissue engineering.
Rohollah joined Prof. Herland’s Lab as a Postdoctoral Scholar at KTH University in September 2021. Here, his research focusses on designing organ-on-a-chip systems integrated with biosensors for disease modeling and drug screening applications.
