About me

I am a Postdoc Researcher in Media Technology and Interaction Design with the MID research group at KTH Royal Institute of Technology. I completed my Ph.D. at Newcastle University's  Open Lab, and my Master's studies at NYU's Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP).

I design woman-centered innovative interactions and interfaces that are mindful and critical, and my overall work focuses on improving quality of life and social equity through design. Currently, I explore the topic of Woman-Centered Design as an ongoing research that intertwines women, technology-enabled materials, tools and systems. This research draws on approaches to design that implicate women, as we may want to define them, but knowing that women account for more than half of the global population and that as i) a group of people, throughout history, has been marginalized; ii) a category, woman varies between individuals other than between genders. The research looks at the impact these technologies could have in the future and the planet, and it aligns itself with the UN 2030 sustainable development goals of good health and wellbeing, quality education, and gender equality.
