About me

I am pursuing a PhD as of 2017 at Network and Systems Engineering, EECS, KTH. My supervisors are György Dán and Mohammad Reza Hesamzadeh.

I focus on analysing failures in power grids and seeking security strategies to mitigate these risks. My current work is to characterise corrective contingencies and to develop computationally efficient methods to operate the power system whist maintaining security against such contingencies.

My work also involves developing incentive mechanisms for the electricity market. In particular, the incentives overcome potential differences in producers' desired outcomes and socially optimal outcomes for energy production and capacity investments due to strategic behaviour on part of the producers and environmental externalities on part of pollution caused by generation.

I have received a Master of Science in Physics in 2017 from UM-DAE Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences, Mumbai. I have worked as a Research Assistant in 2016 at School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
