Computational Methods for Electromagnetics
This course of numerical approaches to solve electromagnetics problems, relevant mathematical theory, and some insight into research and industrial application domains.
The course covers:
- Maxwell Equations and fundamental concepts in Electromagnetics.
- Theory of convergence, stability and error analysis.
- Finite Difference
- Finite Element Methods
- Commercial software for Electromagnetics
- Method of Moments
- Charged Particle Trajectories in Electromagnetic Fields
- The Particle-in-Cell Method
We use Matlab for completing the exercises.
To pass the course, a series of assignments and a final project must be completed.
