Grading

It is possible to get a maximum of 1010 points in the course, 50 points from the exam, 10 points from the graded quizzes and 40 points from the project plus the possibility of up to 10 bonus points.

Grades range from A to F, where A to E are passing grades and F is failed, according to the following table:

Points Grade 90-110 A 80-90 B 70-80 C 60-70 D 50-60 E 0-49 F Students get 7.5 credit points for the whole course, 4.5 credit points from the exam and the graded quizzes and 3 credit points from the assignments.

Each assignment is announced on the course webpage including submission instructions.

The assignments are done individually.

In order to get the 3 credit points for the assignments (pass or fail) you must pass at least 4 out of 5 assignments.
