This course is a natural continuation from AK2030 (scientific theory and methodology) in the context of the Master Programmes at KTH, but is also open for exchange students without specific prerequisites.
The course is conducted in seminar form where topics relevant for physics research will be presented and discussed. The topics include analysis of scientific articles, order-of-magnitide problems, the peer-review process, presentation techniques. The students will work with already published scientific articles. By studying the articles in detail, they will be trained in forming your own opinion on the scientific quality of the work.
At the end of the course, all students will present a scientific article in front of class, in a conference-like setting.
