Tid: Fredag 19 februari 2021 kl 13:00 - 14:30
A HOUSE - Film screening and discussion in collaboration with Resarc course Philospohies directed by Catharina Gabrielsson and Sebastiaan Loosen.
A House (Huset, 2019, 21 min.) is directed and produced by Fanny Rosell. Born in Stockholm 1995, she graduated from the bachelor program in documentary filmmaking at Stockholm University of the Arts in 2019.
"A House" is my graduation film about Elfvinggården – Sweden’s largest and oldest co-living house, that lies on the outskirts of Stockholm. It has 300 residents, all of them women. For more than eighty years, the house has been a sanctuary for women who have rejected marriage as a form of life. Lately, a new generation of younger women have started to move in. A seemingly minor change, but one that could distort – or revive – the house’s original purpose."
After the screening there will be a Q&A with the director followed by a general discussion.
Link to the film and password will be provided during the seminar.
Welcome!
