Library Card
Do you want to borrow books from KTHB, login to "My Library Account", book a group study room or request an interlibrary loan? The library card is the key to many KTHB resources, and here you will find out how to apply for one.
Anyone who is over 16 years and has a permanent address in Sweden is entitled to get a library card at KTHB. Start by filling out the application for a library card. Then pick up the card at the circulation desk at any of our libraries upon presentation of identification.
Students and staff at KTH
If you are a student or employee at KTH, you must prove your KTH-affiliation when picking up your library card.
You can login to "My Library Account" using your card number and pin code to see and renew your loans. The library card also allows you to book group study rooms at KTHB.
You no longer need the library card to access the library's electronic resources off campus. Instead you use your KTH ID to login.
Distance students
As a distance student you can access KTHB's e-books, e-journals and databases by logging in with your KTH ID.
