Vladimir Kutcherov and Taras Koturbash winner of KTH Innovation Idea Competition 2014

The competition was open for all KTH researchers and students with a research-based project in need of funding for developing their technology to a stage where it can be tested against the market and users. The submitted projects were evaluated for commercial potential and project viability. All four research-based projects showed great potential and are currently in the right phase for. The funding will be a welcome contribution to take their project to the next level. Besides the prize money, the projects now receive support from KTH Innovation on how to bring their project to the market.

The winners were happy about the price and won a different amount of money and Vladimir Kutcherov and Taras Koturbash, from the ITM School, and behind the innovation UltraGasQ, are both happy over the first price.

- We will use this opportunity on development of ultrasonic measurement sensors, that will be incorporated as one of the components of the prototype, Taras Koturbash says.
