Photofest of the Great Kungsleden Trail

In this blog, I take the focus away from my words and allow you to enjoy the pictures of my 10-day hike from Abisko to Kiruna, following the Kungsleden trail and climbing the highest mountain in Sweden – Kebnekaise.

Trekking gears
Food for 10 days
And thus we began
We enter the mountains
En route Alesjaure
The landscape just opens up and embraces you
It’s not everyday we wake up to such views
The cabin stations offers free lemonade to tired travellers
Stunning landscapes
One of the best camping spots
Spotting reindeers is one of the most memorable part of the hike
Our home at Salka
The red marks guides the hikers throughout the trail
Singi Station
En route – kebnekaise fjällstation
Start of the trek to the top of Sweden
Cant decide whether to watch the view or the step ahead!
Storms can’t stop us climbing further
Almost there…
I can see it!!! Finally!!!
And we made it!

One final look at the mountains…

And we begin our journey back home with tons of memories
