Open talk

On the paradox of the circular consumer

Published Oct 03, 2022

You are welcome to attend an open talk "On the paradox of the circular consumer" by Dr Kersty Hobson , on 13 Oct 2022 from 15.00-16.00 CET at the KTH Climate Action Centre house, Teknikringen 43.

In the move towards more circular economies, it is often emphasized that industrial processes and business models need to change. Although central to circular economy frameworks, the role of the consumer-citizen remains under-theorised and subject to ineffective policy. In this talk, Kersty Hobson discusses what this means for the circular economy project and our research into it.

The talk will be around 30 minutes and then there will be room for question and discussion. Coffee will be served, no registration is necessary.

The talk is hosted by the research programme Mistra Sustainable Consumption in collaboration with KTH Climate Action Center.
