Doctoral education
The division offers both experimental and theoretical studies. Available doctoral positions are usually announced, but feel free to contact us at any time.
Postgraduate studies at the divsion can carry you either to a licentiate's degree (120 ECTS) or to a doctoral degree (240 ECTS). The nominal time for a licentiate's degree is two years, and four years for a doctoral degree.
Courses given at the lab will play an important part in your education. They contribute with 45-60 ECTS for a licentiate's degree and with 75-120 ECTS for the doctoral degree.
