Activities
PROCEED supports a range of activities designed to strengthen research, deepen industry collaboration, and build a stronger circular manufacturing ecosystem in Södertälje. These span postdoctoral positions, research exchanges and workshops, industry-facing events, and funding for mobility and seed projects.
Research
PROCEED is funding six to seven postdoctoral positions over two years, with researchers based in Södertälje. (List of projects coming soon!)
Research-related activities
The initiative brings together researchers, doctoral students and postdocs to strengthen the field and build connections, promoting case studies, comparative studies, research stays with industrial partners, and workshops.
Industry activities
To strengthen ties between research and industry, PROCEED organises recurring industry days, study visits, and industry-focused workshops.
Funding for mobility and seed projects to strengthen collaboration
PROCEED's seed funding will be available to enable exchanges and bring researchers and industry together around shared challenges and opportunities, to initiate new collaborations, test new ideas, and turn the best ideas into joint projects.
Part of this funding covers the time spent by researchers and supervisors at KTH, as well as time spent by KTH staff at external organisations, which deepens relationships and builds understanding of industry's research and competence needs. Funding is also available for students and teaching assistants.
Participants in PROCEED are expected to share the experiences and insights gained from these activities with their own group or department, helping to spread knowledge more widely across the organisation.
