CREDO- Creation of third cycle studies

Doctoral Programme in Renewable Energy and Environmental Technology

Published Jan 14, 2011

CREDO is a project within the programme TEMPUS financed by the European Commission. The positive development towards more sustainable energy systems in many European countries would not have been possible without highly qualified professionals and excellent research groups working on the development of innovative technologies and solutions. Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ukraine, Molodova and Kyrgyzstan are countries who on the other hand are in the very beginning of turning to more sustainable energy systems - and as common problem they have a decreasing number of PhD students and therefore an ageing group of researchers and university teachers. CREDO will support universities in Bosnia, Ukraine, Moldova, BiH and Kyrgyzstan in their strive to reform and develop their doctoral education - the third cycle of education - to be in line with the Bologna process. The partner Universites will get assistance from experienced European partners. Project consortium consists of: KTH, Technical University of Delft, Netherlands, UPC, Barcelona, Spain, Tallin University of Technology, Estonia.
Start: December 2010- December 2013.
