Explore KTH's makerspaces

Here you can find information about all of KTH's makerspaces, places for students to create, invent and experiment. Find where they are located, how you get access and which tools and equipment are available.

KTH's makerspaces range from large creative hubs that support hundreds of students to compact, more focused rooms. These spaces are for learning-by-doing, experimentation, discovery, and the social aspect of doing it together. Playfulness is encouraged as is sustainability, for example through repair, visible mending, remaking, and upcycling.

You're welcome to use tools such as 3D printers, soldering equipment, laser cutters, sewing machines, woodworking tools, and much more. All makerspaces at KTH require that you complete some form of course or training before you gain access.
