On this website, you can read more about the support KTH offers during your studies. As a student at KTH, you can, for example, download the speech synthesis Tortalk and spelling programs for free.

Stockholm Student Health Services complements the public healthcare that is available to residents of Sweden. The Stockholm Student Health Services provides nurse and counselor services. All visits are free of charge.

On the webbpage "KTH Places" you can find information about which equipment is available in the halls and rooms at KTH.

Search on Room overview TimeEdit if you want to see a list of all rooms with hearing loops at KTH. Choose which Campus you want to apply to and check for "hearing loop" (Hörslinga) in the equipment drop-down (Swedish word: Utrustning).

You can download Tortalk (speech synthesis), Spellright (spelling) and Stavarex (spelling) from KTH's website for free.

Talking books

If you have reading or writing difficulties, you can get your course literature adapted as talking books, Braille or e-text. All compulsory course literature at KTH must be available astalking books. To access talking books, you book an introduction with the library.

At the Center for Academic Writing and Rhetoric, you get help with improving your texts and oral presentations.

Via the libary you can book a consultation in information retrieval in subject and patent databases, or reference management in different reference management programs.

Sign language interpreter

It is possible to get a sign language interpreter at KTH for situations related to your studies; for example, lectures, seminars, group work, field trips, etc. Contact Funka as soon as possible in order for us to prepare the adjustments needed to improve your study situation. You also need to make an application in Nais.
