Student rights and responsibilities

We want you to have a good time at KTH and succeed in your studies! On the following pages we have gathered information about some of the rights and responsibilities that apply to you as a student.

As a university student you are bound by various rights and responsibilities. These are regulated in national laws as well as in local regulations and policies that apply at KTH specifically.

Did you for example know that students have the right to be represented when decisions are made that affect the education or the students’ situation? Or that higher education institutions are responsible for student welfare and to provide a good study environment?

Here we have collected information on some of the most important rights and responsibilities that apply to you as a student.
