Seminar on current issues for Internal Combustion Engines

Seminar will be held by Dr. Winklhofer on topics below, concerning some of the issues industry is facing today:
 
• Basics in SI and CI engines: mixture formation, combustion
• Mixture formation and combustion analysis: thermodynamic, combustion and flame, emissions formation
• High pressure fuel flow phenomena in Diesel injection systems: What we see in diesel engines, what we can measure in model flow experiments. Basics on cavitation and cavitation erosion.
 
Following each topic there will be time for a discussion session where all is invited to participate.
Coffee and cookie will be served at around 10.00.
