VISed

VISed will contain biomechanical simulations that are interesting for education purposes. It could be from simulations of the most common injuries to reconstructions of accidents with victims who have had interesting or rare injuries. It will first be developed for education of health care professionals but, by extension, tailored versions can be developed for schools, athletes, correctional facilities and interested industries.

VISed will also be integrated with the Virtual Patient, an education tool that has been developed by LIME, which allows the user to order for example lab tests, scans of a virtual patient and even to talk to the patient. A simulation of the accident or the injury which the “patient” has attracted can be featured, as well as simulations of treatment effects. This will give greater impression of what they are seeing in the examinations.
