In this online lunch seminar, Ece Kendir Çakmak PostDoc at KTH (WP1 PLENTY ) will present ongoing projects on how volatile fatty acids (VFAs) and other valuable biobased compounds can be recovered from food system side streams. The research aims to optimize biorefinery processes that reduce waste, recover nutrients, and create sustainable inputs for food, materials, and energy.
