About me

I am an industrial PhD candidate at the Department of Industrial Economics and Management (INDEK) at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, affiliated with the Stockholm School of Entrepreneurship (SSES).

My research examines how new venture ideas are evaluated at the earliest stages of development, with particular attention to how notions of “potential” are formed, interpreted, and acted upon by different types of evaluators. Drawing on entrepreneurship research, organizational theory, and decision-making studies, I explore how judgments about ideas emerge across contexts such as venture capital, public innovation funding, and cultural or artistic domains.

The project studies early-stage idea evaluation through a cue-based perspective, focusing on how specific textual elements are interpreted and weighted in assessment processes. It combines qualitative inquiry with experimental designs to compare how human evaluators and AI-based systems assess credibility, feasibility, and perceived potential across different funding contexts. More broadly, the research seeks to clarify how evaluative criteria are formed and how their application may shift as AI tools become embedded in decision-making practices.
