About me
I am pursuing a PhD degree with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence and data-driven methods for organizing healthcare.
My main areas of interest are Computer-Aided Diagnosis (CAD), eHealth, and Health-related data analytics. My interest has been piqued by research in medical image, data analytics and diagnostic analysis, with a particular emphasis on the use of AI, specifically machine and deep learning algorithms, to enhance the precision and uniformity of detection, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases.
I completed my master's studies in Medical Imaging and Applications (MAIA) under the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree scheme, coordinated by the University of Girona (UdG, Spain) and with the University of Bourgogne (uB, France) and the Università degli studi di Cassino e del Lazio Meridionale (UNICAS, Italy) as partners. I conducted my master's thesis at the Nordberg Translational Molecular Imaging Lab, Center for Alzheimer Research, Karolinska Institutet, Sweden. I am delighted to be one of the recipients of the Erasmus+ scholarship.
