Andrew Dwi Permana

I am pursuing a PhD degree with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence and data-driven methods for organizing healthcare.

My main research interests include Computer-Aided Diagnosis (CAD), eHealth, and health data analytics. I am particularly motivated by research in longitudinal and multimodal clinical data analysis, with an emphasis on applying Artificial Intelligence, particularly Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, and Deep Learning methods, to improve the accuracy, consistency, and efficiency of disease detection, diagnosis, and treatment.

I completed my master's studies in Medical Imaging and Applications (MAIA) under the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree scheme, coordinated by the University of Girona (UdG, Spain) and with the University of Bourgogne (uB, France) and the Università degli studi di Cassino e del Lazio Meridionale (UNICAS, Italy) as partners. I conducted my master's thesis at the Nordberg Translational Molecular Imaging Lab, Center for Alzheimer Research, Karolinska Institutet, Sweden. I am delighted to be one of the recipients of the Erasmus+ scholarship.
