Akhila Rao

I completed my PhD at KTH in August 2025, supervised by Magnus Boman (now at KI) and co-supervised by Dejan Kostic, as part of an industrial PhD with the research conducted at RISE.

My PhD research focused on applying machine learning to predict user performance for network management and application-level support in mobile networks. My current research interest is in making these models more practically applicable by improving their generalizability across heterogeneous networks and diverse prediction tasks.
