About me

I'm a PhD student in Vehicle and Maritime Engineering with the Centre for Naval Architecture here at KTH. My PhD project is part of the Swedish Maritime Robotics Centre (SMaRC), and my specific line of research has been focused on robotic perception and state estimation for underwater operations that require an Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) to closely navigate around an arbitrary target; we call these operationsProximity Operationsorprox-opsfor short.

Throughout my research, we have developed a framework that can be used to model the information fusion process required to provide the chasing AUV with a notion of where its target is, and how (or if) it is moving. You can read all about our methods and how we evaluated their performance using our in-house developed AUVs in my thesis.

We have also been working on making our datasets open for public use. Feel free to send me an email if you are interested.
