Alejandra Gomez Ortega

I am a postdoctoral researcher in interaction design. Through my design and research practice, I leverage critical and feminist theory to explore, critique, and design for digital intimacies: the intimate engagements between digital and analog, bodies and technologies.

Previously, I was a Digital Futures Postdoctoral Fellow at Stockholm University. I hold a PhD in Industrial Design Engineering from the Delft University of Technology (Delft, The Netherlands), a MSc in Biomedical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano (Milan, Italy), and a BSc in Electronic Engineering from Universidad de Los Andes (Bogotá, Colombia).
