Alejandro Penacho Riveiros

Hello! I have "worked" at KTH as a PhD student under the supervision of Matthieu Barreau and Karl H. Johansson since September 2023.

Research

My work focuses on the field of fault detection and localization: based on a handful of signals coming from a system, detemine whether it is operating correctly and if not, determine what the issue is. Current approaches range from model-based (where a complete model of the system is available) to data-based (no one knows how the system works, but we have measurements from  previous experiments).

The approaches developed have been applied kind of succesfully in the Ultimate Project.

Teaching

I have been teaching assistant for EL1010. Once and a half times. So far. I also supervised a bachelor thesis.
