Anastasiya Shyrokaya

Anastasiya Shyrokaya is a Postoctoral Researcher at the Department of Sustainable Development, Environmental Science and Engineering (SEED), KTH Royal Institute of Technology. She holds a PhD in Environmental Analysis from the Department of Earth Sciences, Uppsala University (2025). Her main areas of expertise are drought and climate risk assessment, hydrology, seasonal forecasting, environmental data analysis, and impact-based forecasting of droughts. Her research focuses on understanding and predicting drought impacts on water resources, agriculture, ecosystems, and society, with the aim of supporting more effective climate adaptation and risk management.
