About me
Anass Sedrati is a researcher in the Communication Systems division at the School of EECS at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden. He received a M.Sc. degree in engineering in telecommunications from Telecom ParisTech in 2011, and a M.Sc. degree in Computer Science from KTH in 2012. From 2012 to 2024, he held different positions in consulting companies, research organizations and start ups, working mainly in project management and digitalization projects. In parallel, he received his Ph.D in Computer Science (Internet of Things Security and Governance) from INPT Rabat in 2022, and a B.Sc. degree in Middle East and North Africa (MENA) culture, religions and politics from Stockholm University in 2017.
Since july 2025, Dr. Sedrati is the vice director of the SWEWIN research center at KTH, a research center dedicated to perform world-leading collaborative research, innovation, and education regarding next-generation wireless technologies – such as 6G.
Dr. Sedrati research interests include AI Governance, AI in telecommunications, frequency allocation, sociotechnology and Internet of Things. He is the author and co-author of over 10 international journal and conference publications, with a total of 100+ citations, and has led various local and international projects, from their grant application until reporting. He is also a voting member in the Swedish national committee for AI standardization, and participates in several EU working groups and initiatives in the area.
