About me
I am an industrial postdoc at KTH Royal Institute of Technology under the supervision of Tobias Oechtering and in colaboration with Stockholm University and Scania. Our project targets the gap between emerging AI systems regulations such as the AI Act and the development of AI technology, with a focus on trustworthy aspects like privacy, transparency, and fairness. Our goal is to highlight the technical challenges of complying with legal requirements, noting where misalignments exist between legal expectations and technical limitations, and developing actionable guidelines for providers and deployers of AI systems seeking to assess, monitor, and maintain their systems.
Prior to joining KTH, I was a Teaching Fellow at the Computer Science Department of the University of Warwick, UK. I received my PhD from Saarland University in association with the Max Planck Institute for Informatics in Germany, where I worked as a researcher under the supervision of Prof. Gerhard Weikum. You can check out the result of that work in my thesis or browse my publications on DBLP or Google Scholar.
