Stavroula Angelaki

Om mig

Research engineer at the Department of Architecture at KTH, Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden. Stavroula holds a PhD in Architecture from KTH in Stockholm, a MSc in Lighting Design from Aalborg University in Copenhagen, and a Bachelor's Degree in Interior Architecture, Design, and Decorative Arts from the University of West Attica in Athens, Greece.

She has been part of the interdisciplinary research project LiSE - Lighting in School Environments. Her research focuses on lighting interventions in educational spaces beyond standard retrofitting approaches, with an emphasis on children's scale, visual and spatial perception, and their application in participatory design practices.

She is a member of the International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD), the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES), and the International Commission on Illumination (CIE). She currently serves as coordinator of the Light Collaboration Network for Research and Education (LCN).
