Om mig

I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, working on sustainable hydrometallurgical processes for battery recycling. My current research focuses on developing and optimizing selective precipitation and crystallization methods for the recovery and purification of valuable metals from battery waste streams. By integrating fundamental understanding of solid–liquid equilibria with process design, I aim to contribute to more circular and resource-efficient solutions for the energy transition.

I hold a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Aalto University, Finland, where my research centered on the purification of chemicals by crystallization, particularly for food and pharmaceutical applications. My scientific background bridges crystallization, filtration, and catalyst synthesis, complemented by hands-on experience with analytical and characterization techniques such as XRD, SEM, TEM, FBRM, and FTIR, as well as process modeling using Aspen Plus and VisiMix.

I am passionate about translating chemical engineering principles into practical solutions for sustainable production and recycling. Alongside research, I enjoy mentoring students, organizing scientific events, and engaging in activities that connect academia with industry and innovation ecosystems.
