I hold a PhD in Industrial Design Engineering from Delft University of Technology and am currently Senior Researcher at IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute and Docent (Associate Professor) at KTH Royal Institute of Technology. My academic background and professional experience into industrial design with participatory research, has evolved from user-centred design and work environment studies to circular economy, sustainable consumption and well-being, industrial symbiosis and product-system transformation. Through national and EU-funded projects, and through applying co-creation methods I have worked closely with industry, municipalities and policymakers as well as civil society, ensuring that project results are relevant for decision-making and transition pathways.

Recent projects:

-          WP leader in PLENTY, a research centre for a Symbiotic and Circular Food Provisioning, leading the task on consumer studies in relation to social practices, 2025-2028.

-          Projectleader national project in the Environmental strategic program on Food waste related to bundled packaging of products, funded by Naturvårdsverket, 2023-2025.

-          WP taskleader in the EU CARE project to support 100 circular European households, for the development of advisory services in Sweden, 2023-2026.

-          Projectleader for Formas funded research project on Future sustainable clothing, 2022-2025.

-          Projectmanager from IVL for the international European Topic center on Circular Economy and Resource use, with 13 countries in the consortium led by VITO (Belgium), 2021-2025.

-          Project co-lead national project for establishing a national infrastructure for reuse, with 6 industry partners (funded by Vinnova), 2021-2026.

-          Projectleader Nordic council of ministers’ funded project on Sustainable consumption in the Nordic Countries, 2021.

-          Projectleader for three projects on Reusable take-away packaging projects, consisting of the development and test of a Reusable Take-away system, a Policylab project to engage and involve stakeholders in the industry, and an LCA system analysis assignment from Naturvårdsverket, 2022-2025.

-          Project co-lead national project on E-commerce and supporting environmental consumption choices, assignment from Konsumentverket, 2020.
