About me

Anton Bjurström has an MSc. degree in Chemical Engineering from KTH and have previously been working with the Vinnova-funded project Bioform, sustainable and environmentally-friendly materials for vacuum-formed products in vehicles (Vinnova Ref: 2021-05079) , as a Laboratory Chemist.

Currently, Anton is an R&D Scientist at NKT HV Cables AB and Industrial PhD student in the Polymeric Materials division of the department of Fibre- and Polymer Technology at KTH, researching the next generation insulation material for High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC)-cables. The project is funded by WISE, Wallenberg Initiative Materials Science for Sustainability.

His main interest of research are polymeric materials & sustainability of materials, especially involving bio-based polymers, biocomposites, and micro- & nanocomposites.
