About me

I am a PhD student at the Experimental Biomolecular Physics group at the Department of Applied Physics at KTH. I am involved with studying single molecule fluorescence fluctuation techniques in the near infrared region using specialized single photon detectors (SNSPDs). Furthermore I am exploring to extend these highly time resolved NIR detection methods into more challenging biological media with the help of various collaborators.

With our group, we also design various optical and spectroscopic techniques to use the photophysics of fluorophores for understanding biological systems as well as its role in nanoparticle sensitization.

I currently teach Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) lab for the Experimental Biophysics course and Ultrasound lab for undergraduate students.

Apart from research and teaching, I am actively involved in various student representation activities at the university and I am currently the Event Manager and board member of the PhD Chapter (Doktorandssektionen) of KTH.
